MTBA/BMXA Upgrades
MTBA and BMXA members are entitled to a discount on Cycling Australia membership.
You'll need a Cycling Australia Gold Race licence if you want to:
- Participate in road and track events conducted under the auspices of CA
- Accumulate UCI ranking points
- Purchase an International Licence to race overseas
Applications can only be made manually and as you are already affiliated with a local MTBA or BMXA club you are not required to join a Cycling Australia club. Applications must be submitted directly to the Cycling Australia office.
To be eligible for the discount prices listed below, you must provide proof and have at least three months remaining on your primary (MTBA or BMXA) membership. A copy of your MTBA or BMXA membership card or membership receipt must be supplied.

Note: If you want to join a CA club you can apply through that club and will need to pay the above fee plus any additional club fees. Applications made through a club must also include proof of valid MTBA or BMXA membership.
